Besides, this 2-way system features a 5″ low-frequency driver and a 0.75″ PEI dome tweeter. That delivers an even, full-range sound with a frequency response of 85 Hz to 17 kHz (±3 dB). Also the JBL Control 25-1 ensures wide, uniform coverage with minimal overlap or dead zones.
When configured in 8 Ω “thru” mode, it handles 200 W continuous program. For distributed systems, also includes a built-in multi-tap 70V/100V transformer with tap options of 30 W, 15 W, 7.5 W, and 3.7 W. The input wiring is via screw-down terminals designed for secure installation even in exposed environments.
The enclosure is constructed from high-impact polystyrene (HIPS) with UV-resistant paint for the white version, ensuring durability under sunlight. The optional WeatherMax™ grille improves resistance to rain and dust when installed in harsher conditions. The included InvisiBall™ mounting bracket allows easy wall or ceiling mounting with clean aesthetics.
