For the optimal performance of additional microphones, the MaonoCaster AME2 podcast interface features a 3-level microphone gain control and 48V phantom power. Please take a moment to read the notes below before using them.

1. Verify your microphone’s sensitivity and kindness. If you connect to your own microphone, please check the microphone’s user handbook to verify the model and sensitivity.
2. Please clarify whether your microphone requires 48V phantom power. Dynamic microphones do not require phantom power; condenser microphones connected through XLR do.
3. Please place the ‘MIC1 SETTING’ in the proper position on the side of the audio interface. Sensitivity of condenser microphones greater than -40 dB, such as the MAONO PM320, PM500, and AT2020 50dB: Samson Q2U/HD300T dynamic microphones with sensitivity levels between -50dB and -55dB.

Dynamic microphones with a sensitivity of 60dB range between -55dB and -60dB, such as the well-known SM7B/SM58/MV7 types.
